What We Stand For: UDHR Principles in Action
What is UDHR?
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a globally recognized document adopted by the United Nations in 1948 that outlines the fundamental rights and freedoms to which every human being is entitled. It applies as a universal standard in all countries, forming the foundation for international human rights law and national protections worldwide.
Our work is anchored in the core articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, including:
Article 1: All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.
Article 3: Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and security of person.
Article 5: No one shall be subjected to cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment.
Article 7: All are equal before the law without discrimination.
Article 12: Protection from interference, harassment, or attacks on reputation or privacy.
Article 23: The right to work in fair and safe conditions.
Article 30: No State, group, or person may engage in any activity that seeks to destroy the rights and freedoms set forth here.
These principles are not just words —They are the foundation of our commitment to you.
